Healthcare Assistant

Our client is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join their care team and provide support for individuals with complex care needs, specifically in relation to spinal cord injuries.

Shift and schedule

Qualifications

Clean, full, valid UK driver’s license
Access to a business-insured car with valid MOT
Previous experience in healthcare or care support

Essential criteria

Competence in bowel movement management
Strong knowledge of safe moving and handling techniques
Ability to deliver compassionate, person-centred care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable criteria

Female carers, as requested by the client
Prior experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries
Relevant healthcare training or certifications

Experience

Essential criteria

Demonstrated experience providing personal or clinical care in a healthcare or home care setting

Desirable criteria

Experience delivering care in complex medical situations
Previous work in domiciliary or community-based care
